Riad Monceau Marrakech
Much more than a hotel

Renowned for its privileged location, a stone's throw from the famous Jemaa El Fna square, the "Monceau" as connoisseurs use to call it, is the exclusive representative of "Les Collectionneurs" luxury hotel brand in Morocco. Created in 2002 in one of the most prestigious arabo-andalous palaces in the imperial city, this 10-room boutique hotel with an established reputation has continued to evolve since to gradually form this unique place, a veritable caravanserai of modern times and a leading jazz scene of the ocher city.

As an example, a couple of years ago Riad Monceau made the news by inaugurating the very first rooftop in the city. True "urban camp" suspended between heaven and earth, "La Pergola" has established itself as THE jazz scene of Marrakech in the span of a few months. A place now acclaimed by the "New Nomads" who like to come here for a break during the day, between 2 walks in the souk, or to chill and savor signature cocktails and Moroccan tapas with friends at night, on blues, jazz or even bossa nova sounds, depending on the program.

On December 2021 the Monceau innovated again with the opening of the “Bistro Arabe”, a brand new restaurant run by celebrity chef Myriam Ettahri, icon of Moroccan gastronomy. A unique concept of "Oriental bistro" which revisits the codes of Moroccan cuisine. The result is joyful, refined... and dedicated to jazz too since high end trios perfom here several times a week.

This without forgetting of course the famous MarrakChef cooking classes or the very exclusive spa by “Les Sens de Marrakech which will make your stay as unique as the place itself. On jazz rythmes, of course...

  • 5 star review  We came for the jazz bar but got lost with the address. Hard to find it. Food was decent and drink by the swimming pool were wonderful. Again bring cash because like most places in Marocco they will try the 'machine is not working game' if you really want to pay by card be affirmative and say sorry I don't have cash (street food and shopping you really need cash though)

  • 5 star review  An absolute pleasure to have visited this place. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, music etc.. The Staff is available for any service, and do whatever it takes for you to feel at ease in case you need anything. There's a variety of drinks in disposal, freshly made and everything have been studied in a perfect way. Food is a pure delight, a mix of everything, while adding the Moroccan Merrakeshi touch to some of the beverages and food. Will definitely go back, as much as I can. A perfect spot to chill around with friend or even alone, pretty sure you can have interesting new friends over there.
